En specialvisning med en 40 minuters introduktion av Alexis Luko, musikprofessor och författare av Sonatas, Screams, and Silence: Music and Sound in the Films of Ingmar Bergman. Luko kommer berätta om Bergmans musikaliska bakgrund, hans teorier och idéer om filmmusik och hans banbrytande sätt att använda ljud i hans filmer. Luko belyser också de musikaliska scenerna i Höstsonaten och ger publiken musikaliska nycklar för att låsa upp Bergmans magiska ögonblick och hans säregna användning av Bach och Chopin.

Special screening with a 40 minute introduction by Alexis Luko, music professor and author of Sonatas, Screams, and Silence: Music and Sound in the Films of Ingmar Bergman. Luko will discusses Bergman’s musical background, his theoretical ideas about film music, and some of the ground breaking ways he used sound in his films. Luko sheds light on the making of the musical scenes of Autumn Sonata and provides the audience with musical “keys” to unlock Bergman’s magical moments and his peculiar use of Bach and Chopin.
